Gaja Dagromis Barolo – Piedmont, Italy– Produced in the Italian region of Piedmont which has UNESCO world heritage status, this full-bodied wine takes it’s name from the Gromis family. 100% Nebbiolo premium grapes are sourced from vineyards in both Serralunga and La Morra. The grapes from each single vineyard are fermented, macerated and aged for 12 months completely separately. They are then blended and further aged in oak for another 18 months. Slight citrus aromas of bergamot and tangerine with a floral and balsamic character. Berry fruit flavours with a peaty finish and silk tannins. Great with grilled and roasted red meats as well as pizza and pasta, casseroles and mature strong cheeses.
