Louis Roederer Collection 242 NV – The Collection 242 is based on a selection of plots that are suited to its identity and where the emphasis is on sustainable growing practices. Perfectly ripe Chardonnay grapes lend the wine its aromas of ripe, sweet fruit complemented by oaky notes with a rich palate. Produced with 42% Chardonnay from an exceptional vintage in 2017 and 36% Pinot Noir and 22% Pinot Meunier – the latter two grapes from the Vallée de la Marne complete the wine’s broad, smooth and juicy character. The finish is energetic and fresh.
