Chapoutier Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers Rouge – Rhône, France – This wine is produced from organically grown 100% Syrah grapes from vineyards on the south-facing hillsides. The slow gradual ripening at the start of September has given this vintage greater fullness and finesse. This vintage was well suited to vinifications which include some whole clusters of grapes (up to 30%) which create fresh aromas on the palate. Fleshy tannins and floral and black fruit notes.Great with grilled and roasted red meats and casseroles and matures cheeses.
