Champagne Gifts

Champagne is a very popular and acceptable gift in the UK and traditionally a drink to celebrate special events such as weddings and anniversaries. The UK is the largest export market for champagne and a high proportion of bottles are given as gifts, which is why the champagne houses spend so much money and effort on their gift packaging. Although we give champagne gifts throughout the year, Christmas is the time when we give the most.

Many people buy champagne in shops and personally deliver the gift to the recipient. However, where this is not possible or appropriate, Just Champagne offers the perfect solution. Our website features hundreds of champagne gifts that can be quickly, simply and securely ordered online. We deliver to UK and USA addresses. You can have your gift delivered the next working day or choose a delivery date up until the end of the fllowing month. We include a message with your gift and no pricing or invoice goes to the recipient; a VAT invoice is emailed to you within minutes of completion of the order. For online orders we can accept payment by all the major debit and credit cards and Paypal.

We take orders for single bottle gifts up to thousands of bottles for corporates and everything in between. For corporate orders we offer large discounts for volume orders, a full branding service, bespoke gifts and help with address lists. Our experienced corporate sales team can give you advice and provide quotes and as well as debit and credit cards we can accept payment by BACS.

Whether you are giving privately or for business and for whatever event here are a few things to think about:

Which brand? We have all heard of some of the famous brand names such as Bollinger, Dom Perignon, Lanson, Laurent-Perrier, Moet & Chandon, Taittinger and Veuve Clicquot. However there are thousands of smaller producers that are not well known. Generally these are grower champagnes that offer great value for money but lack the prestige of the big brands. If you know someone likes a particular brand then that makes it easy. Otherwise you may choose a brand that reflects their style or image or perhaps that represents your brand or company.  Perhaps you want to choose something unusual that will be a new experience for the recipient and not available on the high street.

Accessories? We offer gifts that contain only bottles in single, double, triple and case formats. In addition we offer gifts which include a bottle with various chocolates, flutes and champagne gift hampers. Adding accessories can make your gift more personal, give the gift more longevity or make it more appropriate for a couple or group of people.

Gift packs? Many of our gifts are presented in wood gift boxes with rope handles and packed with shredded paper to give a traditional look. We also offer gift cartons, tin canisters and special edition gift packs from the houses. Your choice of gift packaging will depend on the impression you want to create, as well as the needs of the recipient. Wood boxes look traditional and can be useful for storage after the bottle has been consumed. Many of the famous champagne houses provide gift boxes of varying luxury with their brand prominently displayed. We also supply cases of champagne with no gift packaging for events or to give out as bottles.

Vintage style? Most champagne sold in the UK is Non Vintage or NV. The NV champagnes from the famous houses are well distributed in the high street and so most people have a good idea of their price. Vintage champagnes are rarer and a little more special and more expensive. They represent the result of a particular year’s conditions and although released to drink immediately can also be stored for several years. Generally vintage champagnes have more complexity than NV champagne; they are aged for longer. Most champagne houses also produce a Prestige Cuvée; these special champagnes are produced in much smaller numbers, use the best grapes available, are usually vintage and are often supplied in more elaborate gift boxes. As with all champagnes they are released ready to drink, but they have even more ageing potential than vintage champagnes.
